Logging time on corporate matters is the process of accurately recording the time and effort spent on a specific client or case. It’s crucial for billing, project management, and tracking profitability.
There are two way of logging time on the system:
1. By using the timer on the navigation bar which automatically records time
2. By the user manually entering the timed logged from Actions Center
1. On a matter, click on the Timer next to the notifications. A small pop up window appears. Click Start timer. This opens a form where you choose if it’s a matter or task.
2. Fill the matter name, category and comments.
3. Click the Start timer button to start timing. The timer icon will turn green.
The Log time record is saved and can be viewed from Time Logs tab.
On a Matter, click on Time Logs Tab then Click on the Actions button. It has a dropdown list of three options. Time Entry, Export to word and Start timer. Choose Time entry where the user manually inputs the Matter details and the time he/she has spent on the matter and saves. It’s saved on the log
